I voted on the poll for Ron Paul, I agree with his libertarian view point, and his obvious outrage of our current governmental system as a whole. Not to mention him being the only member of either party with any real honesty or sincerity.
Well, John Edwards says a lot of things I like hearing, but with Ron Paul being a republican, I find his contrast among his fellow republicans much more appealing.
But living in reality my actual vote is going to Barak. I think he's the only viable candidate in the race that has a real chance of winning that includes any amount of real change.
I believe in the power of symbols, and us electing a black president will no doubt make it harder for anti-US sentiment to linger when the world sees that we replaced hillbilly despot Dubya, with a black man having the middle name of Hussein.
My problem with all the candidates is that they all feel compelled to infuse religion into their campaign, even if it's a false trait mentioned only to satiate the ignorant Christian majority.
I suppose that if religion were to be omitted from any campaign it would undoubtedly cost them the election. I just find it sad that most of America wants the government to stay out of religion, but has ZERO problem with religion effecting policy and legislature.
I could go on a long rant about people being sheep, religion being inherently violent and biased, blah blah blah. Our current system of government is so far gone, I doubt we'll see any real positive change without some terrible upheaval of society as we know it.
So until then, I'll just look forward to the day when ABC announces "Presidential Idol", where dumb cunts, and foolish dewds use their ipodcellphoneblueberrymyspacemojigger to text their vote on the candidate that can sing biblical hymns while choking a brown person simultaneously on live national TV, sponsored by whatever corporate amalgamated puppet master crams as much advertising money into marketing so that the unwashed masses will watch it.
I think I'm gonna barf,
Dadius |
